We built the link tool
we always wished existed.
Not another bloated platform with a 30-day trial and a sales call. Just a fast, honest tool that makes every link smarter โ and every share more intentional.
Our story
urlvy started in early 2024 as an internal tool. Our founding team was running growth campaigns across multiple channels and kept running into the same problem: long, untrackable URLs that broke in emails, looked terrible in social bios, and gave us zero insight into what was actually working.
We tried the existing tools. They were either too expensive, too complex, or too stripped-down to be useful. So we built our own โ a simple shortener with the analytics we actually needed. Within a few weeks, teammates outside the growth team started asking to use it.
That was the signal. We cleaned it up, added custom aliases and QR codes, and opened it to the public in mid-2024. The response was immediate. Today urlvy handles millions of redirects every month for teams across 140+ countries โ and we're just getting started.
Our Mission
To make every link intentional and measurable. We believe that the act of sharing a URL should be as thoughtful as the content behind it โ and that every click is a data point worth understanding.
Our Vision
A web where sharing is as thoughtful as content creation. Where every link carries context, respects the audience, and gives creators the feedback loop they deserve to keep improving.
What we stand for
Four values that shape every decision we make.
Simplicity first
Every feature we add must make the product simpler to use, not more complex. If it adds friction, it doesn't ship.
Radical transparency
We publish our uptime, our pricing logic, and our roadmap. No dark patterns, no bait-and-switch, no surprises.
Performance above aesthetics
A beautiful product that's slow is a broken product. We obsess over redirect speed, load times, and reliability.
User-led growth
Our best features come from user feedback. We listen, we ship, we iterate โ and we credit the people who pushed us.
Small team. Big output.
We're remote-first and lean by design. Every person ships.
